If you are new to Fab Five Friday...
Every Friday we reflect on our week
and post Five Fabulous things.
Sometimes it is not always easy.
But, we do it!
We ponder on the good of our week.
We encourage you to do the same.
Share with us!!
We love reading how your week has been too!!
1) This week I am grateful for:
Falen: For God’s faithfulness, unchanging character, and limitless grace. I am also grateful for friends who hold you accountable and tell you things you do not want to hear but need to hear.
Laura: Rebuke from Godly friends....setting me straight when I'm falling apart.
2) This week I enjoyed:
Falen: Attending my Life Group, all the encouraging posts linked up with Into the Word Wednesday, and having a house full of boys playing their hearts out on Saturday for a late birthday celebration for my son.
Laura: Discovering North Metro Church. I thoroughly enjoyed learning about the honey bee shortage and teasing a friend with various honey/bee gifts...adding salt to his wound of being trumped by a beekeeping story...Good Times!
3) This week I learned:
Falen: Being the bigger person may not be easy but is better than letting bitterness or resentment take root in my heart. I also learned that when I flipped the calendar to August I have fun plans scheduled for every weekend this month! Lastly, I learned there was a honey bee shortage. Who knew?
4) This week I accomplished:
Falen: Getting the kids pictures taken (can’t wait to see them!) and five hours of a pantry makeover that was long overdue.
Laura: Getting caught up at work and cleaning the office for my replacement....6 more days!
5) I am looking forward to:
Falen: Looking forward to all the fun things planned for the month of August, to include Women of Faith and seeing Lisa Tyrkerst at the Sisters Global Event! This upcoming weekend is the Women of Faith Mix-n-Mingle with my church ladies.
Laura: Soooooo much! Girls' Night tonight with my sister-in-law and niece. Tomorrow is my first Kairos team meeting. Next Friday is my last day of work. The Great Darke County Fair is fast approaching! Law School starts August 27. And.....super psyched for one extra super special day in August....TBA!
