You have searched me, Lord,
and you know me.
You know when I sit and when I rise;
you perceive my thoughts from afar.

I have been searched.
My heart isn't hiding anything.
My mind isn't keeping secrets.
My motives are exposed.
My intention wears no disguise.
I am known.
Every mistake and error.
Every good deed.
Every shameful secret.
Every hurtful word.
Every prompt ignored.
When I sit and when I rise
My next move is obvious.
From still to propelling.
From quick to hushed.
From complacent to on fire.
From training to championing.
My thoughts are understood.
Obvious.
Discerned.
Recognized.
Noticed.

I am loved. Sent for. Prized. His. Sought out. Chosen. The Apple of His Eye. In His Likeness. Valuable. Pursued. Reachable. Worthy of Rescue. Made for His Glory.
The enormous, vast, and omnipotent God who spoke galaxies into existence is still personal, intimate and in love with lil' ole me even though all my flaws, faults, and failures are known. Lord, let me always marvel...

ReplyDeleteThere's a quote I love, "The sun, with all those planets revolving around it and dependent on it, can still ripen a bunch of grapes as if it had nothing else in the universe to do." Sometimes I feel like one of those tiny little grapes. So insignificant, but so grateful for a Heavenly Father who loves me as if I were as big and important as one of those planets. Thank you so much for your post. Loved it!
