Love Expects

Love expects... nothing in return.  It's Valentines Day.  We're all gushing emotions of love, jealousy, sadness...perhaps disgust even.  There are MANY ways to define or describe Love.
It does not dishonor others,  it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered,  it keeps no record of wrongs. 1 Corinthians 13:4

God has been working on me A LOT lately that real, true LOVE expects Nothing in return.

What I mean is... 

Give a gift 

Give a compliment 

Care about someone

Encourage someone 

Help someone

Pray for someone

Put uplifting words on someone's Facebook wall

Tweet some encouragement

Pay for the car behind you in the drive thru

without any expectations whatsoever!!  

If I get anything in return, it's a blessing, a miracle.  But I want to Love Everyone regardless of what I get in return... gifts, compliments, judgment, harsh words.

Say something bad about me, ok... still gonna show Love to you...even when it hurts!  This is the Love that Jesus has shown me.  And this is Love that He wants me to show the world.
